Bills Must Be Paid Field Guide is an independent, evidence-bounded guide site for the incremental game Bills Must Be Paid (Rike Games, Steam). It is not affiliated with Rike Games, and it does not claim to be an official wiki or a first-hand completion record. Every page exists to answer a real search need: how to start, which perks matter, what the achievements require, where to buy, and whether the game runs on your device.

Evidence policy
How facts are labelled and sourced
Every page uses a three-level evidence label so you can tell what is verified from what is inferred:
- VERIFIED — confirmed against a primary source (official Steam page, developer site, official FAQ), usually with a captured date, e.g. "VERIFIED 2026-08-11".
- BOUNDED INFERENCE — a reasonable conclusion from verified facts, stated as inference, not fact.
- COMMUNITY — community observations (forums, Reddit, player reports) that we repeat but cannot verify first-hand.
Claims we could not verify are explicitly marked as unverified, or dropped. Each page's "What supports this page" section lists the sources behind its statements.
Update rules
When facts get re-checked
Time-sensitive facts (price, review counts, release dates, platform availability, demo status) are frozen at a captured date shown on each page. They are re-verified when: the page is rebuilt after a significant change, a source page changes, or a correction is reported. The site does not claim real-time accuracy — treat any number older than its captured date as "as of" data.

A: Every page labels facts VERIFIED (checked against an official source, with a captured date), BOUNDED INFERENCE (conclusion from verified facts), or COMMUNITY (player reports we could not verify first-hand).
Q: Why do some numbers have dates?
A: Time-sensitive facts (price, review counts, release date) are "as of" the captured date shown on the page — they are re-checked at rebuilds.
Q: I found an error. What do I do?
A: No public correction channel is configured yet; the most reliable check is the official Steam page or developer site (linked on every page).
