Bills Must Be Paid Demo: Free on Steam and in Browser
The free demo paths, what differs from the full game, and demo FAQs.
Quick answer
Play the demo free on Steam or right in your browser
There are two free demo paths (VERIFIED: Rike Games page): the free Steam Demo and the play-in-browser version. The browser version needs no Steam account at all. One important catch: demo saves do not transfer to the full game (COMMUNITY-verified; the developer has not commented).

Demo vs full
Demo vs full game
The demo covers the early loop (stamina, bills, first perks). Exact content boundaries between demo and full release are NOT_VERIFIED — the community wiki maintains a dedicated comparison page. Known difference: demo saves do not carry into the full game, so treat the demo as a try-before-you-buy, not a head start.
